Syndication for 2023-24

According the FCC rules effectively prohibit a merger between any two of the big four broadcast television networks: ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC. and There is no limit on the number of television stations a single entity may own nationwide as long as the station group collectively reaches no more than 39 percent of all U.S. TV households.

I'm not surprised that Judy Justice is going to be in syndication this fall or in 2024. WZZM has had Judge Judy forever and still airs the repeats I wouldn't be surprised if they picked up Judy Justice. Not surprised that TV station groups don't want to pay for repeats for Judge Greg Mathis & The Peoples Court and are asking for barter time.

So far, Dr. Phil, The People's Court, Judge Mathis and Rachael Ray, 4 original syndication shows has been cancelled for 2022-23 season and not returning 2023-24 season.

Judge Mathis has a new contract with Byron Allen Media.

Are stations in the fall going to air reruns of "Phil" like they do with Judge Judy and Maury?

I don't see Tegna starting a 4PM newscast on FOX 61 in Hartford to fill the 4PM time-slot currently occupied by People's Court. Reason being that in September 2022 FOX 61 cancelled their 4PM News to launch a 6PM newscast.

The FOX 61/CW 20 combo will have a combine 4 hours to fill come this fall. 5 if they stop airing the reruns of Maury. People's Court airs for 2 hours on FOX 61. Judge Mathis airs for an hour on both FOX 61 and CW20.

WTNH/WCTX is a mess. They're in the Hartford/New Haven market.

For the past 2 years they've been running reruns of Judge Judy at 4 on WTNH. And for years even when Judge Judy was still in production, WCTX had been running 2 stale reruns.

Next. WTNH airs "Phil" at 3PM. While WCTX airs it on a one day delay at 4PM.

WCTX will have The 1PM slot open with the cancellation of Rachael Ray. They should move Drew Barrymore to 1PM and restore TMZ Live in the 3PM time slot. WCTX moved TMZ Live to 3AM after they picked up Dr. Oz from WFSB and put OZ in the 3PM time slot. Also currently WCTX airs Family Feud 6 times a day 9AM-10AM, 6PM-7PM, and 1:35AM-2:35AM.

Also worth noting is The Jennifer Hudson Show is not cleared in Hartford/New Haven.
AM
One more final thought At the onset of The Pandemic WTNH launched a newscast 8PM-10PM on WCTX and moved the My Network programming block to 11:35PM-1:35AM. If WCTX eventually switches to CW which I think they might considering WCTX is owned by NexStar, will WCTX cancel the 8PM-10PM Newscasts to air CW programming in pattern or will the keep the newscasts in place and delay CW programming to 11:35?

Same as Karamo, theres also KCOP/KTTV too.
KTTV-TV doesn't air too much Syndication shows because they're also focusing on news and sports I think KCOP-TV (Fox 11 Plus) or KCAL-TV might grab Karamo I've been thinking about KCAL-TV or KCOP-TV (Fox 11 Plus) grabs Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, Friends, Two and a Half Men, The Goldbergs, Young Sheldon, Last Man Standing, Pawn Stars and Storage Wars that's the only 2 options that I've been thinking for this fall

Steve Wikos hasn't been cleared in West Michigan in 2 years as WXMI Fox17 dropped it in the fall of 2021. I thought CW7 or WXSP would've picked up but they didn't.

In my opinion I've been thinking Weigel Broadcasting Television Station KVME-TV 20.1 and KSFV-CD 27.1 would be an option to become The CW affiliate and would be a great option to air The Steve Wilkos Show I don't think KTTV-TV doesn't have any room to air any Syndication shows because they're about to air more Local News and some Sporting events that's my suggestion

I figure Mathis Court and Judge Marlyn Milan will go right into the old shows’ time slots on WJZY and WMYT might take the reruns of the old shows.

Unless it doesn't follow the KTLA path also Fox has it's own syndie arm Fox First Run, plus KTTV has KCOP while the only option in the LA market is KCAL, also in case of independent ones that didn't listed and markets didn't fill we know we lost both KDOC and KOFY citing the recent jump of first-run syndie cancellations. The question is, can it cleared in San Diego on my CW 8.2 subchannel or KSWB? Can WGN picked up too? In Phoenix can it go to Fox 10 XTRA, CW61, or AZTV7?
