Syndication for 2023-24

InvestigateTV+ coming to WBTV September 11 at 3:30pm

If they keep QC at 3 it will be shortened to 30 minutes.

Most Gray stations have a similar article that tells its airtime(s), just go to the station’s website and search InvestigateTV+. All Gray stations are carrying it.

It is also being made available to non-Gray stations.

H/T 29994J on TVNT, WBBM is moving Drew Barrymore from 9:30am to 2pm (both halves will air at 2). Let’s Make a Deal will air on a one hour delay at 3pm CT (since it’s fed at 9am and 2pm CT it will be an hour late) and the 9am news will presumably expand to an hour on TV. Previously 9:30-10am had been streaming only. I think WBBM will be the first station to air LMAD at 3pm CT.

In Detroit Access Hollywood is moving from the Fox O&O to WXYZ in Sep. I think Fox has had Access Hollywood since day 1 in Detroit I could be wrong since I don't live in Detroit. I wonder if Scripps is going to take Access Hollywood in West Michigan from Nexstar which is on WOTV at 4PM, WXMI Fox17 could put it on at 7PM or 7:30PM they should cancel that pay-for-play show Fox17 Unfiltered they repeat the show at 11PM as well.

Since NBCU is unlikely to drop WOF/J! in the San Diego market depending on the contract renewals and leading in to NBC primetime, a full clearance of both Access and Access Live for Scripps stations to replace The List is somehow likely, probably they might add Extra too outside of SD. Of course KGTV and KSWB have 7pm news already (half hour and full hour respectively).

KEYC Mankato has half of Dr Phil hour taken care of with this program at 3:30. Unknown what they will put at 3.

Local News Live from Gray?
Highly unlikely. We’re market 199 out of 210.
Here in Mankato they own all the locals (KEYC CBS & FOX and KMNF NBC.) so they can move syndicated from another station. There is no ABC locally licensed to Mankato.
When Ellen left they moved Inside Edition from Fox at 4:30 and added a fluff show at 4 (not news)

That’s an hour program. (Or it’s supposed to be). don’t think WBTV is even going to pick that up (no room) unless they axed QC in the Morning (highly unlikely) or put it at 1:37 am

Idk about KYW-TV in Philadelphia… perhaps both halves of Drew Barrymore will move to 3pm ET replacing Dr. Phil and 9a News will extend to an hour on tv (930a is currently streaming only)

That’s probably a good call. Similar to what WBBM is doing minus moving LMAD. KYW has the extra hour in the morning before TPIR to accommodate both news and LMAD.

Will KPIX, WCBS, KTVT, WFOR, and KCNC follow suit? Of course neither KOVR or KCBS won't do 9am because of their separate local morning shows on KMAX and KCAL.

Figured they would eventually enter syndication but since they just announced it in August will it be this fall or wait till 2024-25 for broadcast networks like they did when they put American Housewife in syndication.

I can't remember when they announced that American Housewife was going into syndication but the show was cancelled already but it aired on CMT that fall like in October or November that fall but didn't air till the next fall cycle in broadcast syndication.

Just a thought, any opinions or thoughts is appreciated. It was just something I was just curious about since it's about 4 to 5 weeks before the syndication type shows start rolling out.

Looks like it’s gonna be 2024-2025. It should’ve been this year if they hadn’t dragged their feet. American Housewife really got screwed. They waited til they were off the air a year before they launched in broadcast syndication, though they did launch on CMT the year before but to me that is not the same.
