Syndication for 2023-24

Being an actor in and of itself wouldn’t preclude them from hosting as that is not by definition an acting gig. Heck, the actors can continue doing game shows (and soaps) so not everything is in a hard stop.

I know Cutlers Court will be on CW8.2 at noon but idk if Daily Blast Live will move either replace Dr. Phil on CBS8 at 3pm or to a different slot on CW8.2?

According to zap2it KCCI 8 (CBS) affiliate in Des Moines starting Sept. 4 at 1:37am they are replacing Extra with a repeat of the 10pm News.

Articles about the current state of daytime syndication:

Big Bang Theory & Young Sheldon will air Monday, September 4th Labor day at 7pm on PIX+ 44 Cable 12

Yes because the final episode airs September 2 and the pilot airs Labor Day. It cuts back to two episodes a day during the week, but WJZY and WMYT are scheduled to air the same episodes at 7:30pm and 9pm respectively 😳 (unless the listings just haven’t been updated). I agree about the Gray/Nexstar thing. I guess Gray wanted to keep Young Sheldon and BBT together on WHNS.
I did see that WHNS still had Extra overnight after Modern Family even though WLOS will have it.

u reallized talk shows are a failure on streaming just ask Chelsea Handler, Steve Harvey, Joel McHale, Bill Nye, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jon Stewart, Sarah Silverman, Hasan Minaj... u named it. Talk shows are not always a bingable asset. Heck even PlutoTV has channels based on Talk Shows, Game Shows, and even court shows.

So how can You Bet Your Life with Jay Leno Get canceled. But there’s four new game shows coming on. I understand Jay Leno was the talk show host. But couldn’t they just re-package it without the monologue?

For starters because Leno is a member of SAG-AFTRA as well……..

Family Feud on at 3p and 330 starting September 11 on KYW-TV.

Reruns of that quack Phil move to WPHL at 4pm on September 11.

CW7 something is coming at 3PM for Labor Day didn't say what it is thou maybe double Maury or Jerry Springer repeat talker returns, maybe Steve Wilkos surprised that isn't cleared on Nexstar or Sinclair for WXSP or CW7. Maybe a stop-gap until Sep 11?

WTXF-TV didn’t seem to acquire Person Place or Thing. I don’t see it airing on premiere day.

Im not sure what is replacing YBYL at 2p and 730 weekdays starting 9/11. Pictionary still airs at 1p and 230p. 25 Words or Less still airs at 130 and 3a.

Changes for WJZY, WMYT, WAXN and a minor one at WBTV beginning September 11. (There might be one on WCCB because I didn’t see a Black-ish listing for the 11th when I searched for the show on zap2it, however the listings only go from midnight through 8pm).

People Puzzler and Person, Place or Thing replace the cancelled Rachael Ray on WJZY at 10am and the cancelled You Bet Your Life on WMYT at 2 and 2:30pm.

Equal Justice replaces the cancelled Relative Justice at 11:30am and Divorce Court at 12:30pm on WMYT, which reduces Divorce Court to just the one run on WMYT.

A double run of Justice for the People With Marilyn Milan replaces Judge Mathis at 4pm on WMYT.

Judge Mathis reruns move from 4pm to 5pm on WMYT (don’t know why they didn’t keep People’s Court here at 5 to follow her new show)

WAXN usually makes minor tweaks only when necessary but this year they are doing some major shuffling in daytime, they moved the iCrime hour from 4pm to 9am, the previous day’s Tamron episode from 9am to 5am, the Dr. Phil rerun from 10am to noon and the Hot Bench hour from 3pm to 4pm. They picked up 48 Hours (10am), Cutlers Court (1pm, which replaces a run of Couples Court With The Cutlers) and Mathis Court (3 and 3:30pm). Everything from 5pm-1:30am stays the same, then I think they got rid of the ET rerun at 1:30am and replaced it with National News Tonight (previously at 2am). Law and Order: SVU is leaving syndication apparently, and Chicago PD stays at 11am.

WBTV is cutting QC at 3 to 30 minutes to make room for the Gray produced program InvestigateTV+ at 3:30pm.

No changes for WCNC, WSOC or WCCB (except maybe something else from 11:30pm-12:30).

Yeah I am pretty sure Black-ish is quietly leaving syndication on September 11 as “To Be Announced” is listed for 11:30pm on zap2it for WCCB. Stay tuned.

According to zap2it, In the Palm Springs area, Jennifer Hudson replacing Rachael Ray airing at 11am starting September 11th on KESQ,
Extra returns after a year off airing weeknights at 6pm replacing TMZ on KDFX 11 starting on September 4th.
