Syndication for 2024-25

I thought the JJ reruns were going away at the end of the summer. They are repeating season 23 (pre-ponytail Judy) in primary reruns and season 20 in secondary. Season 19/20 on weekends. These repeats are getting high ratings even though it's been out of production since 2021. How can they not? I love how she calls dumb litigants 'baloney,' 'hustlers,' and of course, my favorite saying: "Where do you think you were going today...the beach?"

I emailed programming director for CBS Philly he said they’re not. He may be inaccurate

It could also be moving to WJZY/WMYT since they are Nexstar but we shall see
 
I'm surprised that TEGNA didn't sign up for Judy Justice would go well with Judge Judy repeats. I'm guessing that Judy Justice will be on Wood TV if they want to have something new in 2PM or 3PM timeslot, or WOTV finally move the Goldbergs to WXSP or CW6 come the fall for 4PM would go up against Judge Judy repeats on WZZM. True Crime News sounds like Crime Watch Daily first season with Matt Doran which I liked as host I don't get why they replaced him with Chris for the second season. That kinda sounds like that is more a test run than going national for 2024 on a few Fox O&O's unless more TV stations groups will sign up for True Crime News A.K.A. Crime Watch Daily 2.0

I think the game show from CBS syndication will be on ARC WMI, WXSP, CW6, WOTV maybe, maybe WXMI Fox17 not sure on that maybe be night hours, if Person, Place Or Thing doesn't comeback.

Someone on TVNT said they heard that CBSMV may have told the Judge Judy stations not to pick up JJ. I don’t know how much truth there is to that so don’t take that as gospel. But it was in an article. In the case of WCNC they don’t have room for both unless Tegna dumped Daily Blast Live.
 
I don't know why they don't air some shows in syndication in some areas and air alot ot the same shows over and over. I hope in the 2024-2025 season they won't air alot of the same shows over and over.

In 2023-2024 season in Des Moines Iowa KDSM Fox 17 airs Judge Judy and Family Fued 3 times a day. They use to air Judge Judy 4 times a day but replaced 1 episode of Judge Judy with a Paid Program at 10:30am.

KCWI CW 23 airs Hot Bench 4 times a day. There's other shows that could air but they don't clear them in Des Moines.

So far the shows I can think of that they haven't cleared are the 2 new Court shows from former Judge Mathis and People's Court judges (both of those shows still air in reruns on Fox 17), reruns of Young Sheldon and Friends don't air at all and neither does 48 Hours that just started in reruns this season.

Shows like Access Hollywood and Access Daily and TMZ Live don't air as well. Extra use to air on KCCI but as of September 2023 they replaced it with reruns of their 10pm newscast so Extra don't run in Des Moines either now.

Why can't True Crime News get sold to WPIX instead? It's been years since Telepictures sold anything to WPIX and to me, the title sounds like a Crime Watch Daily spinoff which I enjoyed watching Crime Watch Daily when I was in High School every day on WPIX New York. In hopes of WNYW and WWOR not picking up True Crime News, I'll say this. Just because a show is developed for a certain network or station does not mean they'll pick it up. Jennifer Hudson is not on WAGA or WOFL/WRBW. I see why Fox got so big because the same distributors such as Warner Bros. used to develop their shows for NBC before they got with Universal, so as soon as NBC got with Universal, those distributors like Warner Bros. started to leave NBC and developing shows for FOX instead of NBC but there's a lot of news on FOX and they have a loaded schedule so either WPIX picks up True Crime News or WNYW/WWOR drops Jennifer Hudson for True Crime News and Ken Jeong's new talk show this fall and Jennifer Hudson moves to WPIX CW 11. Hoping that True Crime News gets picked up by WPIX and KTLA instead.

Judy Justice will be on WPIX since Nexstar/Mission has signed on for her show and I don't see WCBS or the sister station airing it since there all in on the old show Judge Judy. And CBS O&O stations didn't sign for Judy Justice when they made the press release a couple of weeks ago. Ken Jeong's talker isn't going forward for 2024-25 syndication season. I watched Crime Watch Daily on WXMI Fox17 for all 3 years at 3PM I don't know if Fox17 will sign on again for True Crime News I guess they could fill it at 12PM or 1PM hour and ditch We The People at 12PM to 1PM, or Scripps News at 1PM to 1:30PM & ICrime 1:30PM to 2PM.

Fox17 aired Jennifer Hudson in season 1 but moved to Nexstar WXSP & The new home of The CW The CW West Michigan this past month on New Years Day.
