Syndication for 2025-26

Thanks to Titan TV, I have updates about the Youngstown Ohio market:

The Perfect Line! will air on 27-1 at 9 & 9:30 am

Scrambled Up will air on 33-1 at 10 am

Tribunal Justice will air on 33-2 at 1 & 1:30 pm

Live PD Presents will air on 27-2 at 1 pm

Karamo moves its timeslot to 4 pm on 33-2

Also, according to them Chicago PD is taking over Criminal Minds all day Monday slot on ION.

Don't know about you, but for me, this will always be the most wonderful time of the year. :giggle:

KPTM will air an hour of Tribunal Justice at 1:00pm beginning September 8th, replacing Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court and Mathis Court. It is currently unknown what they will move to as TVPassport’s a bitch who reveals the schedule as time goes by, and doesn’t reveal the full schedule at once. I will share full schedule changes later tonight and into Tuesday.

Update: Just found out CW Omaha will do Live PD Presents at 3 and 3:30pm beginning September 8th, replacing Dr. Phil.

Ok, so apparently KPTM’s doing an 11PM newscast now… for some reason. It appears the newscast will premiere next Monday, which in turn pushes the two episodes of Seinfeld back a half hour. It’s unknown if the newscast will be produced by KMPH again or just The National News Desk but branded or whatever. And they’re making it until 11:35?? The new late night lineup will be:

11:00pm: Fox 42 News at 11
11:35pm: Seinfeld
12:05am: Seinfeld
12:35am: Modern Family (only one run this time, used to be 2 but will be 1 due to time constraints)
1:05am: The Neighborhood (like usual but back 5 minutes)
1:35am: The Conners (also like usual but back 5 minutes)
2:05am: 48 Hours (will make it a 45 minute run for some reason? How the hell are they gonna do that?)
3:00am: Live with Kelly and Mark rerun

And this just in: KMTV will add Scrambled Up at 3:30pm on September 8th, replacing the rerun of 25 Words or Less, which will go.. I don’t know where 😂

2nd edit: CW Omaha will add an hour of Hot Bench and an episode of Judge Judy starting at 7:00am (after TMZ) beginning September 8th. Both shows will remain on the main FOX channel. This means Cutlers Court will go to a full hour at 9:00am, replacing Justice for the People. The Hot Bench and Judge Judy thing will replace Paternity Court and a 7:30am run of Cutlers Court. Does anybody know what’s happening with Paternity Court? Is it leaving syndication or.. what?

KPTM, likely because they couldn’t book Scrambled Up, has locked an episode of Family Feud for the 5:30pm slot, replacing Person, Place, or Thing. Because Family Feud is always on CW Omaha, this may be the first time KPTM has aired Family Feud on their main subchannel.

WUXP does, for one.

Weren't there some syndicated show deals in the 60s and 70s that allowed stations to air them for as long as they wanted to (ie years and years?)?

That might me a plausible reason why some of these stations had shows like The Honeymooners, I Love Lucy, and Andy Griffith on their schedules for decades, albeit they had to rely on airing their original copies that would start wearing out over time.

I once worked for a station that had pretty much the entire run of Matlock videotapes sitting in a closet. It was a mid-morning staple on their station (9-10am) for years...

...Until one day, the station literally burned down along with all the Matlock tapes. Not sure what they did after that, as I had already left the station by that time.

Yep, that is exactly what happened. Back in the 70s to through to the 90s WYTV had the syndication rights to air Matlock, Little House on the Prairie, My Three Sons, Happy Days, and the aforementioned Andy Griffth Show. By about 1995, all shows had disappeared. Fast forward 20 years, and all these shows were brought back on their air because MyYTV their new subchannel needed content for their station. They could probably air them tomorrow if they wanted.
