Syndication For Fall 2019-20

KTXA Dallas (indie sister to CBS O&O KTVT) has dropped Rules of Engagement, resulting in some shifts in their evening lineup.

Before:
5:00 - Funny You Should Ask
5:30 - Jeopardy! (repeat)
6:00 - Jeopardy! (new)
6:30 - Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Wheel of Fortune airs on KTVT at this time, but it would usually move to KTXA if pre-empted and bump Millionaire)
7:00 - How I Met Your Mother
7:30 - How I Met Your Mother
8:00 - Rules of Engagement
8:30 - Rules of Engagement

After:
5:00 - Funny You Should Ask
5:30 - Mike & Molly
6:00 - Jeopardy! (new)
6:30 - Repeat of KTVT 6:00 newscast
7:00 - Jeopardy! (repeat)
7:30 - Celebrity Page
8:00 - How I Met Your Mother
8:30 - How I Met Your Mother

Dallas is a rare market that has Jeopardy! airing in prime access

In Central time, of course. That's just about everywhere in ET/PT.

Allright, some updates.

1. Yep, as expected, Kelly Clarkson takes Picker and Ben's 3:00 PM timeslot on WCPO. Tamron Hall replaces Steve at the same time on WLWT.

2. 25 Words or less is airing at 12:00 PM and 12:30 on WXIX. Protection Court is airing at 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM. Live PD is leaving WXIX and moving to WSTR.... At 1:30 AM.

3. Looks like America Says and The Mel Robbins show won't be cleared here.

25 Words or Less will air first on WNYW/FOX at 12:30 PM, replacing TMZ, and it will air again on WWOR/MyTV at 6:30 PM, the same slot they gave it for the trial run last year. However, Xfinity shows that this will be the same episode that aired on WNYW, not a different episode, even though there will be two new episodes a day for the first few weeks.
This is a mistake. The two airings are separate runs even though they are listed as the same episode. Interestingly, the 12:30 airing is the "secondary" episode, six hours before the "primary" airing. To avoid my DVR overwriting any episodes with each other because of duplicate listings, I'm forced to record Dish Nation on WWOR at 6:00 with the "Stop 30 minutes late" option until the secondary 25WOL switches to reruns on 10/14.

From what I could find America Says isn't on any station in Memphis or Jackson, TN. In a way not a big loss, but it would have taken up time that ended up with trash talk or courtroom shows.

Kinda surprised that Scripps didn't add The List to replace Just For Laughs at 1:30AM and keeping that I thought Scripps would've gotten rid of Just For Laughs.

They doing that too! Because WACH-TV is adding Family Feud at 12:30pm, It was Family Feud at 12 and Divorce Court at 12:30pm. I not a big fan of Family Feud like that. All of this starting 8/26/19

This happened because Divorce Court moved to WISDT2 CW on 9/30 as well as Hot Bench and RightThisMinute from WIS. Adding for the first time ever playing in syndication is America Says, Live PD, The Goldbergs, Mom, Dish Nation which was dropped 18-19 season from WKTC, Seinfeld which was dropped from WACH 17-18 Season. Live P.D, Mom, The Goldbergs never got cleared in Columbia, SC. Entertainment Studios Court Programming are now retuning on weekends from 1-4pm.

I just realized that WABC New York has replaced its overnight repeat of the 11:00 news at 1:07 AM with Daytime Jeopardy! (reruns from the previous season). This is the first time this run of the show has been on WABC since the 2014-15 season where it helped fill the void left after Katie Couric's talk show was cancelled. WABC even created a whole promotional campaign about it. The following season, it was replaced by FABLife, then when that was gone, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and RightThisMinute took over the hour until the former's cancellation, with Rachel Ray now moved to its slot to make room from Tamron Hall (NYC no longer carries RTM even though it was not cancelled).

Now, if only Sony would make an equivalent second run of Wheel of Fortune finally...

I wouldn't be surprised if Scripps picks up Right This Minute for WPIX next fall if it gets renewed since Scripps owns WPIX and RTM guessing they couldn't make any moves on the TV stations they bought from Nexstar & Tribune merger and are on what Tribune bought for 2019-20 season. Why The List wasn't added to the Fox17 lineup or Scripps political show The Race on the weekend maybe once football ends Scripps will add it not that I care if they do I doubt I'd watch the show since I don't watch the political shows on the networks.

Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury today announced Central Ave, the multicultural Atlanta-based entertainment magazine debuting today on eight Fox Television Stations, has tapped five experts and correspondents to cover wide-reaching topics.

The new team joins television personality Julissa Bermudez (106 & Park) and former Olympic track star Sanya Richards-Ross (a five-time gold medalist), who co-host the day-and-date series from Debmar-Mercury and producer Will Packer (Night School, Girls Trip).

Debmar-Mercury says Bermudez and Richards-Ross are the first women of color to co-host an entertainment magazine series. Together they will tackle the celebrity worlds of relationships, red carpets, money and the law, as well as trends emerging in Hollywood, social media and apps.

Named today as Los Angeles- and New York-based correspondents are:

Shannon Boodram, a certified sex educator, dating coach, relationship expert and media influencer with more than 40 million YouTube views.
Melissa McCarty, a legal, celebrity crime and justice specialist who has served as a television host, national correspondent and author covering every facet of news and entertainment.
Sloane Glass, the QVC social correspondent who earlier created content as a digital reporter and producer at WAGA Atlanta, hosted and created videos for Time, USA Today, People, AOL and MSN, and reported for New York’s News12
Dylan Landon, known for his work over the past decade on programs including MTV’s international music game show Crash Karaoke and livestream hosting top talent appearing at the global electronic music Ultra Music Festival.
Sequoia Blodgett, the former Fortune reporter went on to found Commas, a virtual entrepreneurship resource center providing soup-to-nuts knowledge about product development, marketing, publicity and fundraising.

Show starts today on 8 Fox Owned affiliates.

WNYW New York is airing Central Ave at 7:30 PM, replacing Modern Family. However, it gets pre-empted on Thursdays by Thursday Night Football pregame, and does not air overnight or delayed to the weekend.

so with KMNF-LD1 Mankato signing on 12/1 with NBC Gray (owner of KEYC CBS/FOX and KMNF-LD NBC/CW) is moving syndicated programming from FOX to NBC. They are now adding new syndicated programming not cleared previously

shows on KEYC-DT FOX starting 12/2
9:00 Mel Robbins
noon Judge Mathis
3:00 25 Words or Less
3:30 America Says

only new show on KMNF-LD1 that wasnt cleared is Kelly Clarkson show at 2pm

Correction: 7:30 became BBT recently; MF now airs at 12:00 and 12:30 AM (1:00/1:30 on Thursday nights). Now that Central Ave's test run is over, 7:30 on WNYW is back to BBT.

Sometime between New Year's and today, WPIX/CW New York reduced Judge Jerry from two runs to just one. Replacing the second run at 2:30 is a comeback of RightThisMinute. It was dropped from WABC and the other ABC O&O's after Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, its companion show on those stations, was cancelled last season.

I saw Right This Minute about a month ago on late Sunday/Early Monday on WXMI Fox17 the weekend edition but they haven't aired it since I'm guessing just filler and maybe once in a blue moon type thing since Scripps owns the show was the only reason it was on Fox17 as they own Fox17. As RTM is on Nexstar WXSP at 10:30AM M-F Fox17 did air RTM in winter/spring in 2014 weekends only then daily from fall 2014-16 before it moved to Media General/Nexstar when it was MG it was on WOTV at 1:30AM before moving it to 5PM on WXSP in 2017 they moved it to the morning hours in the fall of 2017. I believe that RTM will be returning to Fox17 in the fall since it is a Scripps show just my opinion.

RightThisMinute still airs on KAPP Yakima at 11:30am and 12:35am weekdays/weeknights. So does KIRO in Seattle, which has RTM at 2:30PM and 2:12AM (following a rebroadcast of the 11PM news).

WXMI Fox17 airing a Coronavirus special at 7PM M-F which Modern Family isn't on a full hour for right now Modern Family comes on at 7:30PM & 12:30AM which Friends isn't on for a full hour only 1 airing at 1AM.
