Syndication in Boston?

What St.Louis show begins syndication in Boston -and other markets?- next week? The overnight program on clear-channel 50k WBZ was just put on ice yesterday and the word is what's replacing it, will come from St.Louis.

Jon Grayson's late night show on KMOX will be simulcast on the CBS AM's in Boston, Pittsburgh and Minneapolis. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

It's nice when one of the good guys gets ahead! Jon was my board op many years ago when I was doing graveyard news at WFLA in Tampa. He was a pleasure to work with and I couldn't be happier for him. Home Slice, if you're out there drop me a note!

Best of luck.

There was such listener outrage at the loss of local programming on WBZ that the very embarrassed CBS
suits took such a beating they had to reverse their decision and rehire two of the three they had just let go

Not exactly listener outrage that brought him back; CBS couldn't care less about that. Inside sources tell the real story. Several of the big advertisers were jumping ship in opposition to the decision, seems they wanted a local guy to run the show they are hawkin' their products on...

Course, Steve & others would have you think it was the listeners backing him; whatever works for his swelled head...

All in a day's work... ::)
