Anyone notice that a nationally syndicated talk-show host was in town today? Bill O'reilly broadcast his show live today from WFBL 1390 this afternoon- he was in town for a lecture. Does this mean Syracuse has hit the big time???? Who's next Limbaugh???

Yawn. Syracuse deserves better. O'Reilly is Limbaugh's cigarette boy.

O'Reilly was here to speak at a Boy Scout fundraiser dinner. They sold 2000 tickets, $250 each. Lots of money made for the scouts, I'm sure well more than enough to cover his speaking engagement fees, whatever they are. And who knows... since it's a charity and it gave him a chance to blast the ACLU, maybe he gave 'em a discount.

Limbaugh's appearance fees are likely considerably higher, since he's been on the radio much longer... and they'd likely be flying him from Florida, as opposed to NYC. I don't listen to either show very often, but I've also never heard Rush do his show from anywhere except NYC or his Florida home.

Syracuse will finally hit the big time when Beaner shows up and does a show LIVE at the 95x studios!!! THEN my friends this little town will be on the map!!
