Turfurro is working at WHJJ News. I have spoken to people close to Turfurro. They tell me he used to work at WSAR and stongly disliked the place . Really disliked the owners(Karoms). Why would he leave WHJJ? Why would he make the same mistake twice?
Listen, I like Tony as a host. I`ve heard him several times on WSAR. I heard Paul Giamarco call T on air to say he wanted him to take his place.
My guess is WSAR is looking for quantity not quality.
Turfurro can be BOTH host and P.D. It`s easier for WSAR.
The place is falling apart.

C'mon. This has been advertised as a PD/Talk Host slot.

Tony may do OK as a fill-in ... but he's got alot more dues to pay before being a M-F host ... and he's certainly not qualified to be a PD.

Not meant to be offensive, just reality.

What about Howie Bart, Helen Golver.
The only experiance he has is 10 months of fill ins at WHJJ. Now full time .
Doing the PD Talk thing. Thats ALOT of weight. WSAR maybe someday will evolve to the big guys like HJJ and PRO. No wonder Paul Giamarco left WSAR! You do make some good clear points!
