T-Man is ALWAYS right

What do you get when you have a guy who prides himself on being right, lost a bet for the seahawks, and has craploads of money to spend venting his anger?

(Actually I think this is quite funny.... and sorta true, but I'm not a sports person so I can't really judge one way or another)<P ID="signature">______________

Well, with his salary, he can afford to spend $6,000 on a billboard ad. The rest of us might be a little more frugal with $6,000....

Considering the little dude has received national press over his billboard, it's probably one of the best $6,000 ad campaigns ever. At least he didn't use this board to drum up fake interest.

If the Seahawks had benefited from bad referee calls and won the Super Bowl nobody in Seattle would care about Pittsburgh complaints concerning bad calls by the officials. Only losers bitch and moan about officiating.

Do you all really think that Tman paid for that billboard? Come on. He works for Clear Channel, who owns almost all the billboards in Seattle.

Note to Fitz and the rest of the Wolf pack: this type of promotion is much more effective than a bunch of fake posts in a forum inhabited by radio geeks.

Actually, from what I understand you're only half right... I'm under the impression that CC's radio and outdoor are run as separate entities and that, as long as there's not a glut of unsold inventory, their radio stations get little to no discount on billboards, which actually makes pretty good business sense.

That said, ain't no way he paid for the ad himself... can you say "morning show advertising budget"?
