t shirt collector

Hey all,

I collect broadcasting tshirts from radio, tv and broadcast products and was wondering if anyone had anything interesting... specificly i am looking for shirts from kiss, but will take just about anything. if you have anything let me know what you want for em. you can contact me at [email protected]. thanks.

I still have one or two "Liz Fulton Gives Great Headlines", and and a standard KIIS T Shirt from the same time period(82-84). They are in a very used condition. I wonder what they're worth, I can use so much money!

I still have my T-shirts from Power 106 "LA's Hottest Music", KEZY 95.9, KRZE 93.5 "The Breeze", Groove Radio and Groove 103.1, Q-106 San Diego and some other stations somewhere. I don't know if I can easily part with them tho....so much memories.

I know what you mean, I still have an old KKFR Phoenix, Power 92 "The Valley's Hot New Music Mix" and "Today's Hottest Music", t-shirts from the late '80s early '90s and KOY-FM Phoenix, Y-95 t-shirts, ahhh the memories!

From my days in Chicago, I've still got some of my ancient WLS shirts, like the "Summer of '79" and "Animal Stories Mobile Unit" shirts... even a couple from the AM-FM partial simulcast days. Some definite memories there of lining up at the "Magic Bus" appearances. Scary thing is that a quarter of a century later, they still fit.

Probably my most interesting one is from a station in Arlington Heights, IL that really had to fight to get the call letters it wanted: WSEX -- "Love Songs And More"! (The station's now part of the "Nine" trimulcast, and the call letters long gone.)

And you're right, I would not part with them. Liz Fulton who was Rick Dees side Kick at KIIS was a really nice person. She didn't get along with Rick that well, but you wouldn't have known that from her Air Work. Unfortunately she has passed on, but those two T Shirts always bring back good memories. ("Giving Good Headlines", Liz Rug Burns Fulton") Why one day she stole my Dinner out of the Refrigerator. I looked in the Microwave, and there was my Italian Sub Sandwich, spinning around. I had hidden it in a bag that had the name of our Chief Engineer on it. She explained that she had a deal with Mike Callahan about eating his Food. I shared my Sub with her, and later asked Mike, and it was true. I never lost an ounce of respect for Liz! She made some good Money at the time, but had some substance abuse problems, you can understand. I miss her, and you too, Post more often!

Re: Liz Fulton

Don Barrett reported this sad news about 6 Years ago. She was very sweet! Now you will probably see a follow up post by someone demanding proof of her Death, we went through this once before.

Sorry Doc,

Scott

There were some reports on this board several months ago that she was not dead but instead still around and alive somewhere.
