Take this test. How long can you go without your radio and other electronics?

How long can one go?

Hey, glad I found this 'special' link here for you all - courtesy of The Seattle Times...

It's an interesting test: one that fits the decription of, say - a long-termed 'isolated' jailed inmate!

"The art of alone time is increasingly lost" -- ??

I tend to disagree: there are many, many 'Henry Higgins' (from My Fair Lady) types still out there!

A local Chicago TV station reported on this a few weeks ago, but I was at work during this time it aired, and I don't have Tivo. But If I could live without any electronic items for extended periods of time, I could do without TV, because I don't watch much TV these days. I work when the best shows are on, and I work 3:30pm-12am CST. I don't use my cellphone that much, so I probably could do without, but not for emergency use though. For radio, I could do without the CD portion as I only listen to my CD's when i feel like it, and for now, that's rare. I usually don't have time. Radio is something I can't do without. I need something to listen to. I couldn't even do without my Sirius satellite radio. Same thing; I can't do without. My computer is also an item I can't do without. Since getting the computer, and getting broadband internet, I can watch certain programs online, but I usually watch music videos online, when I get the chance, plus go on messageboard sites
