...which pinhead will be first THIS week @5:20 on Howie, the "E-Ring" Shmoe OR the "Arrested Development" gavove. Extra points if granny calls in and wants to know what happened to "the gahhhhadian" SeeYa ;)

"Max, do ya know vhen that cute Katie Couric gonna replace that dull Bob Schieffer over on the CBS News"??

Now, A Boring Segment

Am I the only one who thinks the Monday Max Robbins segment has outlived itself?
Max Robbins seems clueless as to what is going on in the industry. He was becoming that way when he was at TVGuide and now that he is at Broadcasting and Cable Magazine he seems to know even less. Perhaps, since B&C is the bible of the industry he just doesn't want to offend the suits who read it.
I always looked forward to his appearance but now it has just become a very boring segment.

Re: Now, A Boring Segment

the idea as a segment isn't a bad one. after all, everyone watches TV and non stop political chatter is tedious. The problem is Max. his goofy laughter and inability to answer half of the questions posed to him makes the segment awful. but howie isn't hurting for ratings, so don't expect a change.
