Talk Radio 1080 WKJK

Does anyone listen to this station? It should be called "Dave Ramsey 1080". I looked at their schedule and Dave is on for over 42 hours a week! Isn't there any other shows out there for 1080 to air?
Any thoughts about 1080? I think that the 1080 signal is being wasted.

1 hour a day it's The Leach Report and then 2 hours it's Kentucky Sports Radio. Both do well, but of all stations to put it on.

I remember in 1993 when 1080 was a part time alternative station it was great!!!It was djx sister station back then.

I dont think its a very good talk station

I pretty much stopped bother to listen when they took the show that Kelly and Steve Kuerzi off the air. I pretty much don't think about the station until I drive past the transmitter every Wednesday. :-\

So do I. I wish they would play him live again.
The reason Sean Hannity is not live is because of guess who....Dave Ramsey  I'm a big fan of Dave as you can tell ::)
I don't know why 1080 didn't pick up some of the shows (like Glen Beck) when 105.1 changed formats.

Last time I heard the TOHID into news, I couldn't believe it! They went from quotes from Sean Hanity (sp?) into CBS news! I mean, from conservative to liberal? How ridiculous is that! You'd think they'd actually pick a newscast that is supposed to line up with their talk programming, but anyway. Several Saturday afternoons ago though, while at my MIL's house, where I can hear the station pretty good, I got caught up in a UK Baseball game, which they actually won! LOL!

There isn't a lot of TOH conservative news casts around. Fox Radio News will get optioned by the Rush station and then, what's left? ABC, CBS, AP.....

You do have a point, but still, I believe it would be in the best interest to get something a little more in line with their programming.

Do you really think CBS radio news is liberal? I mean 5 minutes of real journalism, and reporting ....Something CBS radio has done very well for years and years... It's not comment, nor opinion. It's just news from CBS... Do you watch the NFL on CBS? Is that liberal vs. Fox's conservative NFL?

Yes, I do think CBS news is liberal and no, I don't watch NFL from anybody. I'm not a football fan and besides, I don't have a TV. As far as CBS being liberal, they slant the reporting with a liberal slant. Granted, every news network is slanted in their own way, but CBS is liberal, IMHO.

The perception is from Jesse Helms all the way through conservative media today labeling CBS as a liberal source. If it is said enough times people will believe it.

IRN/USA radio news runs on Salem stations. Is that available in the market? I would consider them more in line with conservative talk.

Incorrect. They run on 1570. Salem has SRN News.

Do you think IRN is going to be around much longer.
