Is there such a thing. Is Colin the best this area can offer? Bring Dan York or John Depetro to Hartford.

Keep in mind that WTIC is a CBS station and we all know their track record programming ANY format. I'm not sure what the local CBS cluster executives think that Colin is bringing to the table but I guess he wins the ratings game by default with 50,000 watts non-directional coverage.

But from this listener's point of view McEnroe's program is not in any way interesting, fascinating or riveting. I might call it absorbing, but it would have to be Colin's self-absorption. He's especially unlistenable when he has one of his newspaper cronies on and they indulge in arcane and esoteric banter that's got to be meaningless to 99% of his listeners.
