Talk Radio in Oklahoma City

From the numbers, the format looks like an underperformer.

What's up here? Does having The Oklahoman -- the most conservative newspaper in any one-newspaper town in America -- serve as Valium for the Rush/Hannity crowd?

KTOK does relatively well. Don't let KOKC's pathetic ratings vs. impressive signal trouble you. Nobody at any Renda cluster has a clue about how to program a station; that's why all of their stations in medium and small markets alike attract plenty of 65+ listeners and not many of anyone else. 1520, a joke is there ever was one.
