Talk Radio Newsletters by Fruit Cake

Mr. Cake has provided the Newsletters he sent out to radio stations starting in 1986.

Will post them as I can.

You can get them at http://neilrogers.org/ look at the bottom of the page for #5 and #7.

Wonder if anyone can complete the crossword puzzle in #7. Let me know. I am still working on it.

Issue #1 with Mr. Cake's take on Steve Kane from October 1986.

Also, his review of the channel 10 WPLG's week long look at talk radio in Miami.

They are available at http://neilrogers.org/ at the bottom of the page.

Will post when new files are available.

Anyone trying the crossword puzzle?

3 more newsletters published by Fruit Cake. You know he was in high school when he did these? Many a PD tried to track him down.

# 2 from Oct 1-13 1986. After the 2 pages of his newsletter is the text that he cut and pasted for the layouts of the 2 pages. They are easy to read.

#6 Jan 23, 1987. WIOD is the topic.

His talk radio guide.

They are at the bottom of this page as PDf's http://neilrogers.org/

The Fruit was a kid named Avi, he lived somewhere in South Dade, had a German Shepherd named Oozie, and he was from Isreal Israel.
His favorite music radio station was the "Voice of Peace" anchored in the Mediterranean and he was a troublemaker in person.
It has always been my loving hope that he has run into the wrong Palestinian.

Avi is alive and well in Israel. I want to thank him for his tapes and newsletters.
