January PPM's are out for Hartford, and while everything else is pretty "business as usual," I noticed two big jumps: one was WMRQ up almost a full share, but I noticed WTIC went 7.9-7.8-9.2! That's a nice little jump... and I bring it up also because in the Providence PPM's, WPRO-AM had almost an identical post-Christmas jump. Think it's sustainable?

It's more than just talk for WTIC. A very strong news team to handle the massive January storms, UConn men's and women's basketball games, UConn in the Fiesta Bowl and its coach quickly leaving the next day, and post season NFL games.

Wonder how much the "return" of Jim Vicevich contributes to the big share.

As Bill mentioned it probably has to due with the nasty winter weather and the UCONN Football Coach leaving.

Not to mention that Hartford is a recent convert to PPM. I think this is the 3rd PPM "book".

The numbers will probably stay going into spring and summer with just a slight drop.
