Talk Radio

It has been several years since I last watched it, so I watched it again tonight and IMHO this is still an outstanding film! Barry's rant towards the end of the movie was chilling! Eric should have won an Oscar for his role as Barry. Anyone know what some of that equipment was in the racks? I recognized the Tascam 122 MK II cassette deck for sure. I'm not familiar with the cart machines or the reel decks. Nice studio setup for the time, considering it was built just for the movie. It would have been kind of cool if KGAB was in fact a real station in Dallas back then.

I remember seeing trade press on it and I'm thinking it was a custom PRE (Pacific Recorders) set up. Cart machines were probably their "Tomcats." Wasn't a fair amount of that film shot at Las Colinas?

I think it was also a PRE set up used for "Frazier."
