from my last post, i realized that there are several other producers on whjj. lynda and jeremy as someone told me. i just heard arlene say something like, "oh theres a glitch, we'll wait to see what linda is doing". why bring extra attention when something goes wrong on air?? I hear hosts do it all the time. then they try to blame their producers or at least the jerk ones do like arlene just did. i dont think shes as nice as she appears to be...

Yorke is the worst one for that stuff. He always blames his producers for anything that makes him look as stupid as he really is

I dunno if Yorke is the worst. Perhaps the worst currently in Providence. However, DePetro was brutal about blaming his producers for everything. I heard him embarrass them routinely. I have no idea what was happening behind the scenes, but they can't have been as hapless and inept as he made them out to be. Since I can't listen to him on RKO, I have no idea if he's the same way in Boston.

B-T-W...what's up with DePetro's site. It's WAAAaaaaaaay outta date.

I used to be a talk show producer for a long time. Sometimes hosts are under a lot of pressure, and they don't mean to dump things on the producer, but it happens. Good producers know it's about the overall product, and not about any personal vendetta (in most cases). LINDA and JEREMY are some of the best around, really creative and talented people. They can roll with the punches with the best of 'em!
