Folks,
For sports broadcasts, our announcer and color guy would like to talk off-air to each other through their headsets. Currently, they have to mute the mics and remove their headsets.
Is there an interface that would do this task, somewhat off a talkback channel? I'm thinking that the interface would allow either to push a button on the interface and route the mic audio to the others headphone as opposed to sending the audio to air.
I've located an interface called "The Commentator" that prices at $200 each (If it still exists).

That would be $400 for what I want to do. Does anyone know of other alternatives?
