Talkers Magazine Heavy 100

Kudos to WBAP for having two local broadcasters in this year's Heavy Hundred List. Talkers Magazine is a radio industry publication that focuses on the talk radio format. The 20th anniversary issue came out this week and Dallas has two mentions. Mark Davis from WBAP ranked #60 and Hal Jay who is listed in the 101 - 250 list.

That top five, while not surprising, is very depressing. In other news, Howard Stern is less relevant than John & Ken and Jim Rome.

Fanboys who say list is invalid without Russ in 3...2...1...
 
I listen to Howard 4 hours a day. Too bad a PPM won't tell you that. Or will it? I don't know.
 
JFPO- I doubt even the fanboys would say such a thing given that RMS had been off-air for a long while.

Being on this board for a while now has taught me that the only group more obnoxious and more obsessed than Russ fans are Russ haters.

Seriously, give it a rest already.

Has anyone noticed that Jay seems to be floundering by himself? Everytime he says the phrase Bringing America back to greatness, I tune to a different station.
 
I'm pretty Russ neutral myself. If anyone looks at my scant posting history, they won't find anything that would label me a "hater." I was making an off the cuff remark about people that deliberately set up new accounts for the sole purpose of getting in on the action of a Russ thread.
