Once again it seems Ed Schultz and Mancow have unrealistically high ranks. I also didn't think Jerry Doyle was doing so well according to this mag, but again, they're estimates and they've been debated before.

Living,

are you upset that Ed Schultz is doing just fine? Or you are just a right wing tool who is upset that progressive talk is working. Why don't you go back listen to your Conservative Talk Radio witch take its talking points from Mein Kampf.

::)

I know there is discussion about some peculiar ratings like Dennis Miller's in the other thread, but:

Neal Boortz apparently there are 4 million people listening to midmornings on WSB

I wouldn't necessarily pin his ratings on WSB alone, rather I would make him more of a regional voice, considering he's on in other major south-eastern markets with top stations like WAPI in Birmingham, WOKV in Jacksonville, WBT in Charlotte, and WDBO in Orlando. But outside of that, nada.

Speaking of Salem, isn't odd how Dennis Prager doesn't seem to make the list, considering everyone else does, including Hewitt? Then again Prager's show airs during rush hour... ;D

Well, you are right. However, WBT bumped him to the savory midnight-1am hour in favor of a local show in his old 9-mid spot. Big station or not, there aren't too many listeners there. Yes, there are listeners at WDBO, WOKV, KRMG, WAPI, etc., although these are medium markets. WNIS in Norfolk does well for him, too. It's hard to image stations of this caliber in markets #64, #36, etc., add up to such a huge number. Maybe it's due to KGIL in LA. :D

Oh Christ. I'm not saying Ed's not doing well. I just don't think he's doing THAT well. Especially when this list has been challenged by folks like Phil Boyce saying it's merely audience estimates, and when sites like Talking Radio are saying Randi Rhodes and Stephanie Milller are both outperforming Ed Schultz.
