Hello All,
I have a question regarding the Talking House TH II Part 15 AM transmitter (the black, metal-cased unit that resembles a VCR or DVD player).
When it is being used with the supplied 3 meter flexible wire antenna, what serves as the counterpoise? Is it the metal case or the 6' power cord, or both?
The reason why I ask is that I already get pretty good range at ground level. If the power cord serves as the counterpoise, I could mount it in the attic with the power cord running straight down, so that it would also radiate vertically polarized radiation like the antenna (like the other half of a dipole).
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help. -- J. Jason Wentworth
