Talkover Beds

Here's something that's irked me for a while... CHR DJ's that use the same talkover beds that originated between 1992 and 1997 over and over and over and over and over and... you get the idea.

Since I'm working on putting my own show together, I'd like to know... what songs would you reccomend as talkover beds? I already have some ideas... mostly pulled from songs that remind me of certain things or times in life, all of which are energetic, upbeat... even funky (hey, the funk never dies, right?). For example, Ms. Jade's "Feel The Girl" makes a great bed. I've edited a nice little bed from "Get Down Tonight", and the instrumental of the remix of Alicia Keys' "Karma" provides a great instrumental of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition". Of course, being a dance junkie, I have to have some of my favorite tracks from that genre as well, including "Stay In Love" by Mona Q, the club edit of Sylver's "Forgiven", etc.

So staying with the upbeat, energetic feel that I'm going for, what other songs would you reccomend? Keep in mind, I'm going for a relatively large instrumental library here... I don't want to use the same talkover bed twice within two days if at all possible. Your ideas and comments are greatly appreciated.
