Now that WBZ-AM, WBZ-FM, WODS, WBMX and WZLX are owned by National Amusements, do you have to be 4 feet tall or taller to listen to them?

You mean Redstone--Viacom---National Amusements? I think he had Showcase Cinema
chain, or does...and the "four foot or higher" is a joke about being tall enough to ride on
an amusement park's rides, I think (Amusements)

Does National Amusements d/b/a Showcase Cinemas still exist? All the ones in Connecticut -

Southington, Berlin, North Haven, Manchester (which was a fancier one called Cinema DuLux) were all taken over by an outfit called "Rave Motion Pictures". Also it appears that Rave Motion Pictures is a very lazy company. Their location in Southington is right on State Route 322. There's a sign with a marquee by the side of the road and it says "For Movies and Show Times Visit Our Website http://www.ravemotionpictures.com/". When it was Showcase Cinemas they listed all the movies and showtimes. This is a big mistake on Rave's part. The theater is location directly off I-84 Exit 28. A lot of people get off at this exit because there is a Rest Stop/Truck Stop there. When the titles and showtimes were listed right on the marquee the kids could say to their parents "We want to see a movie." Now they can't do that. Not everyone has internet on their phones.

I think they were renamed National Amusements at least around here (Revere, Woburn) but some may still have the Showcase name. Sumner Redstone (Showcase/National/Viacom/CBS) may have been the inspiration for the name of the Redstone shopping plaza in Stoneham MA

I think when you type Showcase Cinemas into a search engine you get links for Showcase and
Natl. Amusements alike.

I remember riding by the Revere Drive-in theater in the 60's and in neon under the Revere Drive In Theater name was
" A Redstone Property".
