Tall tower in Escambia Farms (old 98.1 tower)

I saw a thread about this tower awhile back. Last time I passed through there I did not see the tower or lights. I had heard one time that it was dismantled, or was going to be dismantled. Anyone know?
 
there was some talk about taking it down to the level that the southern linc antennas were mounted...but that has been a while back....that is all I know
 
I think Southern Linc (aka redneck nextel) has a long term (over 10 yrs) contract to use the tower so it couldn't just be taken down completely. I would guess those antennas are around the 400-500 ft level. Of course that could have all changed since I heard this about 3 yrs ago and I could be talking out of my ass like rob does sometimes ;)
