The Sunbelt keeps gaining — Atlanta’s now #10
and Las Vegas surges 38-32 in Arbitron’s new market rankings.

That’s the first time Atlanta’s been in the top 10 and the first time Tampa (21-19) has made the top 20. Boston falls out of the top 10 in the rankings that take effect with the Fall 2005 survey.

Congrats to the Tampa radio market, it's been a long time coming. The Tampa TV market already ranks as the highest one in Florida.

The fact that the TV market includes Sarasota and Lakeland and the radio market does not is the reason for the gap in ranks between TV and radio.
