Hello!!

Anyone knows what kind of transmitter and power they are using in their radio station?

I don't know what kind of transmitter or antenna they're using. However, my little book here identifies them as "WYZ235"... running 10 watts.

They did something (maintenence and/or new equipment) several weeks ago, as they are very loud all the way into central Pinellas now. Meanwhile, the Tarpon Springs MIS appears to be DOA.

WYZ235 is broadcasting with an ERP of 10 Watts most likely using a 9 foot whip antenna, and an LPB-AM10 or LPB-AM30 transmitter.

(Both come from www.lpbinc.com) and the AM 10 is 10 Watts and the AM30 is 30 Watts... and if they are running a 30, they are using the adjustable power output to get it down to 10 Watts.
