Tampa Ratings May 2026

Not much to see here. Top 5 is more or less the same... Both country stations tied with FLZ for 10th place... WDAE's upswing ends...

Wait, what's this? In only its second book, 98.7 K-LOVE goes from 0.1 to 1.1! Good enough for 19th. The Joy could be in for a long ride.

Rumba is down to a 0.1. I guess no one missed them enough to follow them from the big signals to the translators.

And this must be an all time low for WLLD. Not sure what’s happening unless it’s just the loss of younger listeners to radio in general. Last time I tuned into 94.1 a few months ago, it sounded like they had the Voltair cranked up to 11. So I guess they are trying everything!

I think the Wild ride is over and yes, it's not only an all time low for Wild on 98.7 or 94.1.... but the lowest ratings on the frequency since it was upgraded from WEZY to WSJT according to Huff and RadioInsight. Let's be honest, they're never gonna reach the numbers they did back in early 2K because the younger demographic just isn't there. At this point I think Beasley has to consider the value of the 94.1 facility and if it's worth keeping with maybe one of the other formats (Maxima upgrade?). I'm sure with ownership caps lifting iHeart would love another full market signal for NewsRadio WFLA. Just thinking out loud here... IF Beasley were to sell another signal in Tampa Bay, would they sell to iHeart and which signal would it be? I don't see Q105 or 99.5 QYK moving as they're established and share a tower site... so I gotta believe it's either 92.5 alone on a tower in Seminole or 94.1 way out in Fort Lonesome.
