Tampa traffic on 97.9-Jacksonville

Somebody asleep at the wheel on Radio Now (WNWW 97.9). After MJ signed off (only 3 more shows to go) local feed did not come. Got to hear Tampa traffic and some commercials too. So much for board operator excellence.

Is the Kane show coming to Jax too?

That happens from time to time, heard that several years ago. MJ giving the local Tampa forecast. I've been wondering the same thing, if Kane will come to Radio Now. I'd assume so...

Sounds more like a computer glitch than board op error. The same thing happened one day on a talk station in Birmingham; they got Charlotte traffic and weather. When I left a message on their Facebook page they just deleted my post; oh well, at least I know now no one cares, even if everyone notices.

There's a Clearwater station also on 97.9. Could have been freak atmospheric conditions?

The Clearwater station runs twice the power of the Jax, I think.

I remember several years ago 106.1 WTAK in Huntsville AL had a glitch (or nobody at the wheel since it was during an ice storm) after the johnboy and billy show was over, and continued rebroadcasting 99.7 WRFX Charlotte NC for most of the day. That was a neat way to get some nice several hundred mile DX, lol.
