FLZ is now the #2 FMer, CC's The Beat continues to beat Infinity's Wild, US makes a strong 4.1 debut, Majic is extreme down, and 98 Rock's last book as an active rocker still beats alternative 97X. WMTX is listed as AC on R&R's ratings, but R&R says it's on the hot AC panel. No ACs play 3 Doors Down's "Let Me Go," but Mix plays it.

Mix was officially made a 'Hot AC' if I remember rightly, and Jeff Kapugi was on this board saying they weren't sure about that. He felt they were much less aggressive in terms of spins than many Hot ACs, and it's a good point when you compare. However, a lot of its selections (as you point out) do make it Hot AC.

Indeed, Magic is down hugely, but it has rebounded from the first trend. Both it and direct competitor Mix are up again. There aren't a lot of clues in this trend as to which station might flip (if any, according to previous thread) since the ratings of Magic, Mix and Point are far from a disaster. The Beat and US are both doing well, proving Clear Channel's recent flips successful thus far.<P ID="signature">______________
