Since she's the only media columnist in town read by people who don't work in media, it's probably wise to stay on her good side if you want exposure outside your station. Maybe you should offer her some of that peanut butter? ;)

nobody reads her column udder den radio people and radio dorks like ppl on dis site.

That would explain why the paper has kept her around so long (dripping sarcasm intended.)

I just always assumed she could suck a golf ball through a water hose.

Tanji has the market recognition, She is genuine, and knows the market.

Not sure what she will/would sound like on the radio?

KTSA could use another female presence-Lots Of Love to Liz Ruiz!

Tanji used to do a segment every now and then on WOAI. (Thompson Brothers?) She did pretty well, which isn't very easy to do with those two. I think she could work well. Especially if the format is a midday news update with a bit of personality. She certainly knows how to anchor and has a good personality.

The bigger question is: Will a midday news block work? Most stations have gone away from that. If I want to know the headlines in the middle of the day, I'm in my office and can just go to CNN.com. I'm not sure folks will hit the radio. ???
