TANYA CRUISE GETS OFF TOO EASY

Tanya Cruise (Lori Sergiamoni) has been sentenced to four months in a halfway house and four months of home confinement for her role in a $40,000 home insurance fraud that improved her North Providence home. Sergiacomi, (Tanya Cruise) must report to the McGrath House in Boston on Sept. 22. She must also pay more than $40,000 restitution and a $2,000 fine.

She should have at least spent some time in jail. Wonder how her pool is going to look after Irene comes through?
 
For this type of crime, and this level of offense, Jail time is rarely given on a first offense.

She's not "getting off" at all, she's just not serving jail time. Seems like an appopriate sentance to me.
 
Paul and Al did a hilarious bit this morning roasting Tanya Cruise for her conviction. They mentioned her and Lite Rock 105 by name.

I would LOVE to hear that, hopefully someone has audio for it? I checked the HJY website and didn't see it. (other fun Hurricane clips though)
 
They sometimes replay bits, especially if callers request them. Given their penchant for mean humor, I am surprised that they did not go after her less-than-desirable voice.
 
She has to pay back the 40K, she lost her career and she's now a convicted felon. She screwed herself professionally. I think she more than paid her debt to society. What is she gonna do now? The only thing she's qualified to do is....be Buddy's co-host on WPRO! Felons are always welcome!
