Tape of Buddy Cianci talking about Ron St. Pierre's departure

I figured that many of you are curious as to how Buddy Cianci handled the Ron St. Pierre situation on the show Tuesday. Click the link below to see. Buddy handled it in a classy way. Nothing more can really be said. I will say that I don't like the direction I see the station going in though. That much I know.

Very nicely done, Mr. Cianci and certainly deserved by Mr. St. Pierre after all of the hard work and many years that he put into that radio station.

I found the tape interesting, but Buddy never said how he felt about the stations decision. He's never bashful about his other feelings. Yes, he said nice things about Ron, but I didn't hear any outrage. He claimed he was NEVER even consulted. If the guy who helped you get the job got fired, wouldn't you express a bit of outrage? Just sayin. . .

Sounds to me like, "Well, I got my got gig." As Ron stands in the unemployment line.

I dont see him doing the show long without Ron.he'll either quit when his contract expires or they will not renew him.$$$$$$$$

I could see a possible play at hjj.A swap for hannity down the line.Hannity is A cumulus show.....BIG SAVINGS right there.Bill George loves hiring NAMES too.

I think the first mistake was to get rid of Michael Savage. His show is really good. Getting rid of Coast to Coast AM was another mistake. Ron was probably the last sign of that place being organized. I really think without him there that whole place is going to start falling apart in ways we haven't seen before.

I disagree about Savage & Coast to Coast A.M. has really gone downhill. With that being said, I think WPRO will just become another Cumulus clearing house for its weak syndicated fare. It's really sad.

If that turns out to be the case....then what does that make 790? What you're left with is a station without much reason to exist.

As for 630...Cumulus could do even more chopping and cutting and STILL be putting out more effort than CC does with WHJJ. If it werent for Helen Glover, you would be able to run 920 off a desktop PC in some supply closet. ;)

I thought Hannity was syndicated by Premiere / CC?

I still think WPRO will be feeding at least some daily bird feed by years end...I think sooner

My bad, you're right. I had WABC in mind.
