From WBT-Charlotte to part time at Myrtle Beach is going backwards career wise. She must have a family heath issue or personal reason. WBT's part timers should be as good if not better "talent wise" than most "drive" announcers in MC. Use to be if you were a "star" in a small market it was a stepping stone to the "biggies" top 100 market.

She was a very good investigative journalist in print media, but to me, that has not translated very well into entertainment value for radio. She researches and presents her points very well, but overall, it becomes boring.

She does great research, is very informed and very smart. However..... she does not have a good on air presentation, and beats a dead horse way too much. I believe that is why she is no longer on WBT.

I think she would be a fantastic producer for any talk show host because of her research talents, and would also be a good contributor, but as a host? She's not for me in that department.

Agreed. Better producer than host. A good host is entertaining and engaging, thought provoking. Whether you agree or not. I think Neal Boortz from WSB Atlanta is very good and I wish they would carry his full show live on WBT. Move Keith Larson to afternoons and let Vince Coakley go back to reading the news on TV.
