TARA

I suspect jealousy towards Tara from many.

she has a great speaking voice, interesting, mom, wife , stable person.

I don't listen.... but when she was on ABC6 I thought she was real attractive and I enjoyed watching her. She's good in my book.

How many more times are we going to say the same thing?? The other Granahan post said the same 'whatever' from you two.

Perhaps you didn't get the memo. We are in reruns this week. Next week all new posts!

That's the menatlity of the average local talk show listener. You could run the exact same show five days a week and they would sit there with their heads cocked like dogs and actually pay attention.

I agree with you aqualung and Tony R ,Tara has an ANNOYING voice. A person that quotes Oprah and thinks the 'world' of Michael Jackson, I dont know that I would call her stable. Depetro makes a Fool out of her 3 times a week, but I agree again, why the hell are we talking about this silly person so much?

What did (listed in-the-order-they-died) Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and Billy Mays have in common?

We knew them at-a-glance.
They understood, and were humble about, attention span.

When "Charlie's Angels" became a top ten show, Farrah said "We're a hit."
When it made top three, she concluded, "it's because we don't wear bras."

Michael Jackson's musical genius was surpassed only by his gift for making-you-look.

Ed McMahon and Billy Mays smiled, and didn't mumble.
Neither of 'em would've said "dubba-yew."

Because it's largely anonymous here, I can only surmise that most Tara dissers here are unlike her, demographically...so they're not factoring-in relatability. She IS the-audience-News/Talk-radio-craves: soccermom in the SUV, the Secretary of the Treasury for households populated by children (read "retail spending MACHINES"). She speaks to -- and for -- them, and makes the on-air ensemble "a family." She's the daughter/sister/mom/aunt the show would otherwise be without.

Among the kinder of MANY consultant jokes: "He takes a connecting flight to come-all-the-way-here to tell me 'Be yourself?'"
