TBS - The Boring Station

TBS: Not so very funny, but funny... I give them a B- for effort. That, and the Very Funny Ads show that plays commercials in between the commercial breaks.

They should change it to: TPN (Tyler Perry Network) They show enough of his programming. Unfortunately, it all stinks! Please, no more of his crap. He's as bad as the syndicated Byron Allen programs.

Frank TV was on last night - at 11 EDT. Not sure about how it's doing though. Hope it's doing well because Frank Caliendo is a very talented and funny dude.

I would have to agree. Pretty creative and not that bad at all. Good job, TBS web people. But not as good as UK's version of YouTube directing every single link to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" video! :D

From my understanding, Frank TV's ratings are actually pretty good. So, he could be around for a bit.

It will be know from this day forward as The Baseball Station, and The Braves MIGHT pop up from time to time. TBS has a long-standing relationship with MLB, and The Braves will be seen on Peach TV locally in Atlanta-Exclusively.

Caliendo's show will be back this fall. I just heard an interview with him earlier this week and he said he met with the head of TBS and the season order went up from, I believe, 8 to 10 episodes. Very funny guy

I agree that "House of Payne" is dumb, but that dumb entertainment regularly scores high ratings for TBS. It ain't going away--in fact, I think HoP will be going into broadcast syndication.

House of Payne is another symptom of our dumbed-down society. Which is probably why it's scoring some ratings. The new motto of every programming department seems to be "lowest common denominator."

I very much enjoy House of Payne, in fact its about the only thing I watch on TBS. But how is it "silly" and "stupid" while other sitcoms on TBS and elsewhere are not? I don't get it. And, what other Tyler Perry programing is on TBS, other than HOP? Two hours once a week hardly would seem to dominate TBS programing. Some people really show themselves with their twisted comments.

What they are probably talking about is that there are a lot of movies that he has made recently, but there is only one Tyler Perry show on TV right now.

TBS has the rights to most of the Tyler Perry movies. They also promote it alot on NBA games on TNT.
