TBS's Ernie Johnson: Missing from Action.

I knew it was ironic, but The Atlanta-based sportscaster has decided to sit out this post-season from MLB, Because of his own family matters; The death of his Hall of Fame sportscaster father, and he needs to be close to his dying son. So how come TBS is getting Brian Anderson the top spot over seasoned veterans Dick Stockton, Jon Miller, or Bob Costas. I think Costas happens to very natural at doing play-by-play for baseball coverage.

Somebody on Twitter last night alleged that Stockton referred to a triple in the Phillies/Cardinals game as a double, not once, but twice. Perhaps Brian Anderson is a change for the better?

Bob Costas MLB Network/NBC/Versus.
Jon Miller and Joe Morgan would be good or anybody else from MLB Network or CBS or Marv Albert or Kevin Harlin or so on.

I could see Miller and Morgan together again, but not for the division series. More like the NLCS perhaps.

I think someday ESPN will eventually get back into game covering post season LDS action, as it shares with TBS, And TBS will continue to share The LCS with FOX. Any Thoughts?

As a Brewer fan who is hoping for a win tomorrow night so he can call the NCLS for his home team (though without his partner Bill Schroeder), I would say, "yes please" :D. Though I think everyone else outside of the Milwaukee market will cry foul, of course.
