Technical changes approved for CBC Radio One in Tillsonburg

The CBC received approval today to reduce the power at the "yet to go on the air" Radio 1 facility CBCL-1 88.7 in Tillsonburg, Ontario from 2,060 to 1.320 watts (8,180 to 1,320 watts maximum ERP). Antenna height will be lowered from 78.9 to 3.5 metres (EHAAT). The transmitter site will be relocated and the radiation pattern will change from directional to non-directional.
