Technical changes proposed for CIDC 103.5 Orangeville

Dufferin Communications (aka: Evanov) has applied to increase the power of CIDC 103.5 in Orangeville, Ontario from 30,700 to 51,000 watts (30,700 to 100,000 watts maximum ERP). Antenna height will be raised from 150 to 221.6 metres (EHAAT). The transmitter will be relocated from the Orangeville area to the existing CIAO 530 site in Halton Hills.

An application has also been filed for CIDC to be broadcast via an HD radio experimental license with 5,100 watts (10,000 watts maximum ERP).

This is a complicated mess. It's too late for them to better serve Orangeville, so a boost there is useless. (My FM Orangeville has been granted by someone else)
Trying to better serve Toronto with a stronger signal? What does Rogers (owner of Kiss 92) or Bell (owner of Virgin radio) have to say about this??
