Technical Glitch - Figure this one out guys

Okay. I think this is the oddest technical glitch I've ever seen.

Channel 96 is the 24/7 home of the TV SuperStore Infomercial Network. TV SuperStore also buys the 12AM-6AM time slot on WSAH Channel 43 from MultiCultural Broadcasting. Right now as we speak there is a frozen image on Channel 96 of some infomercial with the audio of a different infomercial. Meanwhile over on WSAH, the Video and Audio are the correct audio and video from TV SuperStore. The audio on 96 is the proper TV SuperStore audio.

I saw something like this happen once on Cable One in Dyersburg, TN at my mother's house. Once with WREG CBS 3 in Memphis where there was a frozen image of the Beatles from a CBS Sunday Morning report, but the audio was from WREG's Mid South News Network, which isn't carried by Cable One. I don't know if this glitch came from WREG's feed or from the local cable system. It went on that entire Sunday and wasn't corrected until the next morning, probably becasue there was nobody at either WREG or Cable One that was aware of the problem until the next day.

I have never seen anyone show this much interest in a shopping channel - especially to take the time to call the cable company to report it.

This happening with a shopping channel just seems like more of a curious oddity since I could care less about actually watching it, but when it happened in my area it was the local CBS station, so I'm sure more people howled about it.

Isn't this channel paying the cable company? So really your getting the shopping channel for free.

COX is using TV Super Store as filler until they get someone to lease Channel 96. 96 is one of 2 Leased Access Channels. Until October 1st 30 hours out of 168 hours were leased out to Connecticut Off Track Betting. (The other Leased Access Channel being 67 where they use Jewelry TV as filler).

But im still sure both channels are giving something to Cox. Cox cable isn't just going to put their paid advertising up with getting anything out of it.

Anyway, getting back to the glitch... It had to be with the TV station, since they were "turning" TVSS and Cox was getting the feed straight off the satellite. There was obviously nothing wrong with TVSS. In that, it could be the receiver screwing up at the TV station, it could be a screw up with the MC switcher, or it could even be a fiber screw up with the station and Cox's head end.
