technical question - audio - nightly business report - whyy channel 12

the audio sounds like the link that driving the audio input is set too high in gain ...sounds way over-driven ... distorted ... not the crystally sound of an i.s.d.n. link .. not the sound of the old fashioned "clipper" ... the only time that it is not distorted is when they put in the dace blaskovitz spot , which is local ... what's up with this distortion ? it certainly has nothing to do with "sandwiched" analog \ digital signal does it ? is whyy using an emergency feed for the nightly business report ? i am out of guesses , to be honest ... c.s.p.

and , also , when will they convert nightly business report to channel 12-1 digital ? i missed the show using my digital converter box the other night ... had to go back to straight analog to watch it the following night
