Technology Upgrades

A prime example of just why remote starts are needed in the bathroom!
I had to do the install just one time at a small AM I engineered. Older gentleman did mornings.....the bathroom odor could kill after he "went!" They kept a canary in a birdcage in that bathroom - I never understood why they kept a bird in the bathroom until......
I had to put those switches in one day with tears in my eyes....the canary was unusually quiet that morning.
And then the afternoon gal was mad 'cause there were no remote starts in the women's bathroom. She had not refined the art of sucking up to the engineer(I said "up to") so she never got her remote starts...
 
A station I worked for in Texas carried the Texas Rangers baseball games. The top of the inning was a local spot break so you had to kill the network and start your local spots playing. The bottom of the inning was the network only spots. I sure could have used some remote starts when the batters went one-two-thee and there I sat.... :-\
 
When I was attending the University of West Georgia, WUWG 90.7 FM still had a board from the late 70s or 80s, 2 record players, 2 cd players and used 2 cart machines. Within the last year or so, the cart machines had been replaced with a computor with all the PSA, the CD players have been replaced but the record players are still there.
