Ted Cassidy and the JFK assassination

I've posted this on the Classic Radio board,
but hope someone in the Metroplex can help:

In 1963 Ted Cassidy, Lurch on "The Addams Family,"
was a newscaster at WFAA radio, and I've read that
he interviewed two eyewitnesses to the assassination
of JFK. Does anyone know if a recording of the
interview still exists?

Bud Buschardt at ABC radio networks would most likely know .

Wfaa TV's website used to have a link to the audio of Wfaa radio from that day which included Ted Cassidy (a DJ at the time) among others.

I was about to state the same thing-- so it makes me feel better that I did indeed hear that at one time when WFAA.COM had it on their site...

Also I think that Ben Laurie has a copy of that as well... or at least I think he told me once that he did.

Just a thought!<P ID="signature">______________

I didn't hear Ted Cassidy on this one (I might have missed it), but you will hear Ben Laurie and Walter Evans, and many more. This is nearly as good as watching the Jay Watson clips from Ch.8. Great stuff though. This freebee is about 30 minutes in length.
