Ted Ziegenbusch former KOST On-Air

Just a quick introduction. I'm Ted Ziegenbusch and I retired from any active role in radio back in January 2020. My final music show was on KOST where I was the last remaining on-air member from the original staff that began broadcasting on November 15, 1982. Prior to arriving in Los Angeles, I was a radio program director in Las Vegas, San Bernardino and San Diego. I was also the host of Saturday Night Love Songs with Ted Ziegenbusch coast-to-coast on the Jones Radio Network in the early 2000s. I began my career as a young intern at KMEN in San Bernardino and was their on-air Music Director beginning in 1971 (my first commercial job). Over the decades, I have hosted Album Rock, CHR, CCR, Mellow Rock, Country, Classical, News, Talk & more.

Ted, you and your colleagues did an excellent job executing KOST format with discipline and consistency. I heard great attention to detail and a concise concept of the role of the station in the audience's lives. Well done.
