When? You owe it to us to edify, o1m. The article makes no mention. Don't be so concise.

She must have been a child. Maybe she was the little girl who got off the
bus and tap danced for Jed. Her mother asked Jed if he thought he could
cast her (at his movie studio) and Jed said, "We'll try a few other things
before we put her in a cast." (as in leg cast)

You would be right here. It was the episode where Jed got an honorary doctor's degree at the college and got his picture in the paper on account of it which made Granny jealous because she was the only doctor in the family and Jed got his doctor's degree in only 30 minutes so Granny tried to get her own doctor's degree at the college but failed at that with the dean at the college thinking that she was crazy putting her in a straight jacket, looking at spilled ink, putting things in holes, etc.

The people on the bus that included the little girl played by Teena Marie and her mother was part of a tourist group who thought that the mansion was a talent agency included a smoke eater, a knife thrower, a woman in a bird costume doing bird calls, etc. I remember besides her dancing that her only lines were "But we love you."

Going back to Teena Marie, I always thought that she would have been a challenger to Madonna thanks to her 1984 hit "Lovergirl" but she didn't have a string of hits after that on the Hot 100. She was a mainstay though before then and after that on the R & B charts having a steady career on that chart. She was also connected to Rick James both professionally and romantically as well. It was a shock to see her death on the internet but does anyone know how she died?

So sorry to hear about her passing. I always wondered what happened to her and agree that its a shame she didn't go further with her music. Just goes to show that luck is involved too.

Back to the Hillbillies, the writing on that show was incredible.
