Tejas and Corpus

Looks like the whole sales team quit on the company. Sounds like Kent has been playing golf too much and his sales manager doesn't have a clue. I am guessing if they don't things straightened out within 90 days one or both could be out. Doesn't surpise me one bit.

Completely wrong. ONE sales staff has left the building. Not sure the reason, doesn't matter. As for Kent still being there... that should be the question we are all asking.

oh yeah, whole sales team quit. jocks probably did too. good golly, with all the radio gigs out there i can't imagine why any of them would have taken a job there in first place. all those big market openings with those huge commissions. what dumb-a## would stay at their current job? i personally would have made the move. clearchannel is all the way up to 6% for its a/e. what could tejas or malken possibly offer? 18%? 20%? forget-about-it
i'm sure kent is an a-hole. anyone ever notice that the ******* never get anything accomplished?

Well Cleto74....it look like over a year to year ratings situation that KLTG was 36% down in ratings, all the effort in KOUL and its actually dropped in ratings granted it just a hair but K99 officially has over twice the ratings that KOUL has. So much for the little corporal. His ultimate goal was beating K99 and it looks like he will never do it. He has sacrificed the other three stations to try to win that battle.
OK KMJR did very well but 12,000 people listening for almost 20 hour weekly will give you that. Now that they have given the Tejano market to Clear Channel they will not recover it using Recuerdo. The biggest problem with Club 98 was the music director. At least that was the correct move. Well when you have Kent spending a great deal of time on the golf course it isn't hard to see why his stations are underperforming. For another book Tejas radio group is fourth amoung the radio group total ratings though I will give you the Clear Channel folks have 6 stations but they are getting 25% of the ratings.
