Telemundo and NBC

I think its about time that Telemundo starts letting people know they are now owned by NBC. Today I finally saw a TELEMUNDO commercial announcing a show on their sister station NBC. Does anybody know why they never said nothing until now?
 
You know the old saying, Curiosity kills the cat.

A lot of people know this already, It has been heavily promoted during the last couple Olympics and somewhat during the FIFA soccer games. I think that the majority of people know this already. Even Telemundo Mexico used to periodically hint they were owned (don't know if they have the same owners overseas,), or at least affiliated to NBC.
 
Juan, I hate to break the news but maybe TV doesn't come in real clear in your cave. :D

I know many people inside the media (broadcast and print), PR professionals and your veritable TV aficionado, and I can't think of one person that doesn't know that information. That knowledge transcends ethnicity too. It may not be cross-promoted that well on the Spanish side, but NBC 5 does a nice job of that from hot time to hot time (sweeps for those scoring at home).

Not to mention the fact, their e-mail domain is blah [email protected]. IJS ;D

Caves aside, I think what we've proved here is that mrtexmex2007 is nothing but a troll, posting nonsense to see what kind of response he gets.

You mean you'll tell us your thoughts behind your original post in this thread? Good! Because that's all I was really asking: why do you think Telemundo keeps quiet about being owned by NBC? Especially when they don't. And why does it bother you enough to post about it on the Texas TV board?

Answer these, and I'll publicly take back the troll remark. Promise.

Well if you take it back or not I dont care, but the only reason I posted this because I saw a tv commercial about a show from their sister sation NBC. Thats the only reason why, I wanted to know so I asked. And no it dosent bother me at all if they do or not.
 
Fair enough. It just seemed like an odd question, and one that actually fit the National TV Board better, since it has nothing to do with Texas, except for where you saw it.

And yes I will think about posting things on national tv rather than on Texas Tv.
 
I was being absolutely real. Your response to my initial inquiry, plus other posts I'd read from you, led me to believe that you were a troll. I was wrong about that, then doubly wrong for making a public accusation.
