Telemundo comes to Charlotte on WSOC 9.2

Effective June 1, 2017, WSOC-TV will become the affiliate for Telemundo in Charlotte.

Telemundo will be broadcast on 9.2 in HD. Laff TV, currently on 9.2 will move to 64.4. WSOC-TV 9.1 will not change any of its programming for this event.

Telemundo Charlotte will be the first full powered, Spanish speaking network in Charlotte and the second one in the state of North Carolina.

Charlotte is currently the largest market in the US without a full power, Spanish network.

Closed caption in Spanish will be on CC1, CC in English will be on CC3 during primetime.
